Prabhu Nagar Lake

The village of Prabhu Nagar was chosen as we discovered that there was one lake which was lost to time and filled with silt. Prabhu Nagar with a population of about four thousand was in dire need of a permanent water resource.

Sulga Lake

After finishing the Prabhu nagar project, PYAAS Foundation was invited by the gram panchayat of Sulga, to rejuvenate a lake in Sulga village. The village had a lake which was active forty years ago but due to erosion and deposition of silt, the lake was completely closed.

Aralikatti Lake

After completion of the Aralikatti project, PYAAS Foundation was invited by the gram panchayat of Aralikatti to rejuvenate a lake in village Aralikatti. This village with a population of 6000 bore the brunt of the draught on 2016. PYAAS Foundation had provided water via tankers to this village in 2016

Kittur Lake

In the summer of 2017 PYAAS Foundation undertook one of the most ambitious project for lake rejuvenation. PYAAS started the project of rejuvenating the historic Kittur Lake situated in the home town of Rani Chennamma, the lake which is several centuries old had lost its depth due to years of silt and encroachment.

Kelkarbag Well

PYAAS Foundation took up this well as its first urban project and started digging the well in March. The well was dug and cementing of the walls has been planned.
